Roundhay is a large and generally affluent residential suburb of north-east Leeds. It is ideally located having a large public park of over 700 acres comprising parkland, woodland and lakes and is a popular destination for residents of Roundhay and visitors to the area. Tropical World, situated within Roundhay Park, offers locals and tourists the opportunity to experience different zones from around the world and features many rare birds and wildlife. Exclusive designer brand shops, bars, restaurants and deli's abound in and around Roundhay. Two comprehensive secondary schools in the area, Roundhay School and Allerton Grange High School, have both recently been rebuilt. Roundhay is on a main bus route with regular buses in and out of Leeds. On a sunny day, this is the perfect place for a walk round the lake and park! - Top restaurants serving delicious food and glamorous bars to keep you up until the early hours! Some of the best schools in Leeds are in this area - making it also a fab place for families!

Try San Carlo at the Flying Pizza - the new place to be seen in North Leeds, with delicious pastas and in our opinion one of the best North Leeds restaurants.
Also there's Haley and Clifford, our favourite deli in North Leeds, serving a lovely selection of sandwiches and salads. And for shops, visit Sass Boutique offering high end ladies clothing on Street Lane.
If it's evening entertainment you want, visit Nappa Bar - a popular North Leeds bar by night, serving food by day and bursting through the doors on a Saturday night!
