Also new this year are the Yuletide Yurts, providing the perfect place for a festive drink and snack. They also play host to magic shows during the weekends and throughout Christmas week. Tickets cost £4 in addition to your entry fee.

For an extra treat, why not visit Santa and his elves, or settle down with Mrs Claus for some Christmas crafts.

Wendy & Peter Pan at the Leeds Playhouse

Do the Roundhay Rudolph

Local family, the McLoughlins, have come up with a great idea to celebrate Christmas, raise money for charity and keep fit, to boot! They’ve set up a 7-mile Rudolph-shaped route to run, cycle or walk around the streets of Roundhay, Oakwood and Gledhow. There’s a shorter four-mile route, as well. Just track your route with a GPS app and you’ll have your very own Roundhay Rudolph image to share with your friends.

Look out for posters highlighting the route along the way. So, get fit, have fun and raise funds for local charities.
