Stoneacre & Homeless Street Angels come together to Raise a Festive Smile this Christmas...

Friends and clients of Stoneacre will know that we have been fundraising for charities over a number of years now.

When we first came up with the idea to help raise funds for the "Leeds Children's Hospital Appeal" for their Easter 2017 appeal, we never envisaged how successful our fundraising campaign would turn out to be.

Because of that initial success, we then proceeded to conduct campaigns for the Christmas 2017/18/19 & Easter 2018/19 appeals, which again were an astounding success, mainly due to the tremendous support from our friends, clients, and the generous local community. 

This year we are fund raising for a different worthy cause - HOMELESS STREET ANGELS.

Homeless Street Angels are a charity that provide outreach every Thursday evening on the streets of Headingley and Leeds City Centre, handing out hot and cold food, clean clothes, toiletries etc.

Their philosophy is to believe that homeless and marginalised individuals are capable of change and can only achieve their full potential when offered a safe, supportive, empowering and non-judgemental environment - and the charities vision is to provide such an environment and meaningful activities which will help reverse the spiral of homelessness.

Like our previous Christmas fundraising campaigns, thanks to the generosity of our directors, Ben Jacobs & James Newman, we will again promise to donate £1,000, as long as we hit our target of collecting 250 pieces of Christmas Chocolate/Confectionary at both of our collection points sited at our North Leeds branch in Chapel Allerton & East Leeds branch in Whitkirk.

We are extremely confident that our friends, clients and the local community will once again support us in a wonderful cause.

We are taking donations right now, so if you want to help us "Raise a Festive Smile" for the Homeless people in Leeds, we'll be happy to see you, and take your contribution at either of our branch collection drop off points in Chapel Allerton and Whitkirk.
